Rants

Ok, let's get this blog back going right... with some RANTS!!!

First, let me get something off my chest that we have been hearing more and more about: equality. Equality is everyone having the same OPPORTUNITIES!!! Not everyone having or being given the same salary, having the same amount of money saved, having the same car, etc. It is about the OPPORTUNITY to have those things... what you do with your OPPORTUNITY is up to you.

People, people, people... unless you are a SWAT team member, EMT, or doctor who is on call, there is no, repeat NO reason to have your cell phone at the damn gym, much less be sitting at a machine that I am waiting on having a casual conversation! DAMN!

My Dad has said this for years: people are completely oblivious... it's just them in the world, no one else. This is never more obvious than at the GROCERY STORE! If you don't know, I am currently employeed at a grocery store until the baseball season starts, so unfortunately I get to see this on a daily basis. People leaving their carts in the middle of the aisle while they wander off, or better yet, stand beside it and block the ENTIRE ROW!!! It makes me want to go up and slap them in the back of the head.

There is no need to come to a COMPLETE STOP when making a right hand turn... that's not called making a right hand turn. That's called parking in the right hand lane. If you push the gas, yea that little peddle on the right, you actually make it into the drive or the parking lot.

Last one: Health insurance companies, let me tell you something: It is never a good thing to lie, multiple times, to your customers. Thanks.

Rant over!

OH MY GOD I SEE THAT YOU UPDATED ON MY "WATCH" LIST AND I GOT SO EXCITED!!!!!

i hate people who stop to turn right. i was just thinking about that the other day, but thought it was too bitchy to make a "ranting about traffic" post

I disagree on a couple of your rants. I take my cell phone when I run on the treadmill bc the one time I don't will be the time my wife calls with an emergency about my daughter.

The reason I stop to turn right is bc I got precious cargo in the back seat that I don't want to get rear ended. That and the drugs that I transport can't be discovered

treadmill, i have no problem with that, but not sitting on a bench or machine, carrying on a stupid conversation... definitely not an emergency call.

imho, stopping when turning right would actually INCREASE your chances of getting rear ended, but that's just me.

That is tru too. I guess I am just screwed either way. My motto is to drive like I stole anyways so can't hit me if you can't cath me
